News from the Division:
NEWS: The above photos are of the first meeting CP 1, Philippines, in Baguio City held on Dec. 7, 2010. We gathered to formulate by laws and to honor Pearl Harbor Day. We continued to sign up new members as well. In attendance were: John D. Keller (red shirt), John N. Kramer, Tom Darkus (PUFL Member) and past CP 1 Division Commander. Also, 30 year CP 1 Member David Goodman, Keith Harken, Earl Barnett, Gary Arant, Joe Walter, Dave McCaffrey, John LaGrew, and Will Skoe participated in the memorial to Pearl Harbor, POW/MIA's and all Active Duty Warriors world wide. The meeting was held at CP 1 "Official Watering Hole The Red Lion Pub" in Baguio City, Philippines. In addition, we offered special prayers for our recently departed "Tic" Bostic, CP 1 member from Angeles City who's pub "the DMZ Bar" used to be the "official watering hole" and is now closed forever. "The Red Lion Pub" owner Tony Perlas and his staff have generously offered his inn and pub to China Post 1 Memorial Division here in the Philippines as our new permanent home |
