The DoubleTree hotel is a newly renovated guest rooms feature all-new Double Queen Beds or King Beds. The special Group Rate for this event (2 Queen beds or King is $149.00/night. These rates can be applied three days pre and/or 3 days post reunion dates. Do make your reservations early especially if you plan to stay past the end of our reunion as hotel space will be limited due to a city-wide marathon scheduled for the following weekend. We have also negotiated a discounted breakfast voucher for $10.00 which can be purchased at time of check-in, a $14.95 value.

Room Information

The DoubleTree hotel has newly renovated guest rooms featuring all-new Double Queen Beds or King Beds, as well as brand-new blackout blinds for the perfect night’s sleep.   • 09:00 – Reunion Registration, Hospitality Suite
  • 09:00 – Emblem Sales. Hospitality Suite
  • 17:00 – China Post Reunion Reception, Hospitality Suite

Tuesday, 15 September

  • 09:00 – Visit Wright Patterson Air Force Museum (Admission to Museum is free)
  • 09:00 – Hospitality Suite opens
  • 16:00 – Dragon Riders Meeting

Wednesday, 16 September (meeting locations to be announced).

  • 09:00 – Executive Committee meeting
  • 09:00 – Auxiliary Members meeting
  • 10:30 – General membership meeting, all members of the American Legion family are invited, China Post members, Auxiliary members, and Sons of the Legion.
  • 13:30 – 40&8 Promenade
  • 1430 – S.A.L. meeting
  • 18:00 – Cocktails.
  • 19:00 – Asian Flair Banquet. Guest Speaker: CMSGT (Ret) Ray Snedegar. (C5 Loadmaster of Operation Baby Lift, April 1975, Saigon)
  • 21:00 – Retire to the Hospitality Suite.
